Apple today released a new ad for the fourth generation Apple TV titled “The Future of Television.” The ad gives glimpses at various TV shows and movies like Orange is the New Black, The Grand Budapest Hotel, Simpsons, Ant Man, The Martian, the The Wizard of Oz and more.
The ad then proceeds to give us a look at some of the games available for the Apple TV 4, including Asphalt 8 and Guitar Hero. Apple also highlights Siri, Apple Music, and the tvOS App Store in the ad, and then ends the 1-minute advert by saying “The future of television.”
Apple had previously uploaded five different ads for the new Apple TV in November. The ads highlighted the gaming abilities of the device and also gave a glimpse at the tvOS UI.
Launched in late October, the fourth generation Apple TV comes with significantly powerful internals than its predecessors that allow it to play games and run apps like Plex and more.
